The Fugitive has carried out a terrible act. Is it a war crime? Is it a murder? Is it an act of betrayal? We do not know. But The Fugitive is trying to escape. Who from? From the self? In the first piece The Fugitive begins to process what they have done; pressure on the conscience and confusion. In the second piece The Fugitive tries to run away. Where? Anywhere. But they cannot escape; wherever they turn the shadow appears; they are attached. In the third piece The Fugitive jumps into deep water. Hoping to drown, but thwarted by the currents, The Fugitive is washed up on the shore. In the fourth piece The Fugitive walks; walks anywhere and nowhere. The wind rebukes and curses The Fugitive’s soul. In the fifth piece the falling leaves spin The Fugitive into a dizzy vertigo. The Fugitive collapses into catatonic stillness. In the sixth piece The Fugitive is unable to move and gradually consumed by the frost, slipping to death and escape.
